Mines 2006 was the fourth in a series of Sector Partnership Meetings (SPMs) held under the aegis of the EU-SADC Investment Promotion Programme (ESIPP). It was a forum where promoters and entrepreneurs from the Southern African region presented a carefully selected variety of new and high-quality business development projects in the Mining sector to interested European and other international investors.
